In this 4-session series, we will practice making art in community, using art-therapy inspired creative processes, text-study, writing, and collaging. Intentions of this series are to generate creative material, find inspirations in community, explore personally relevant questions, and practice following our energy and interconnections.

Emphasis is on cultivating joy in the creative process, feeling resonances (and resistances), and using collage as a method of collective creation and divination.

This series is for you if: you’re looking for a moment of enlivenment through creative practice; you’d like to be engaging in inquiry with others; you’re craving generative, surreal, surprising creative energy for yourself.

No art-making, writing, or art-therapy experience necessary.

These sessions are inspired by the Jewish Studio Process, and Vanessa Angélica Villarreal’s work on sympoietic creative process.
